Program Overview
You Can Quickly Become a Certified EKG Tech
The EKG technician performs electrocardiograms according to a physician’s orders and established practices or procedures. They perform diagnostic tests to assess heart rhythms and heart rates in patients.
Registration is open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm and closes 7 days before class starts. If the class reaches the size limit, registration may end sooner.
Program Details
A well-trained EKG technician is an integral part of the management of patients with heart disease. We strongly recommend taking the EKG course along with the phlebotomy course offered at this institute.
The total duration is 4 weeks. Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 9am-1:30pm
Registration Requirements
- Deposit Paid
- Valid Photo ID
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or GED
- Criminal Background Check
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID test within 3 days of class start date
- TB results within 1 year (offered for $50 on first day of class if you need one)
- Working knowledge of computers

Payment Information
Payment plan for private pay:
- $600 deposit due at registration
- $250 due biweekly on week 2 and 4
Completion & Testing Information
Once you have completed and passed the course you are eligible to take the National Certification Exam for EKG: NHA Ekg exam Costs for $235, due 1 business day before scheduled exam.
